Collage (Nickname: Pookey)

Collage (Also known as Pookey) is a black and white cat that came into the lives of Lyn and Noral about 5 years ago. Collage has always had a fascination with climbing into the Christmas tree and nesting there for hours. The photo above was taken just this year. Collage climbed right into the tree as soon as it was set up.

Lily

Lily was adopted in 2011 by her foster parent Jackie. Lily and her 5 brothers and sisters were born in Regina under the bumper of an old car parked in a yard. Jackie lovingly decided to bring the Momma and kittens into her home when they were just ten days old. One of Lily’s favourite things to do is curl up on Jackie’s lap – this is one of the reasons why Jackie fell in love with Lily.

Sarge (orange and white) and Mimi (grey and white)

A lovely picture of Sarge and Mimi hanging out under the tree playing in the gifts and with the ornaments. The owner of these adorable cats is Veronica. She has had Sarge since he was a kitten, and she adopted Mimi from the Street Cat Rescue in Saskatoon in July.

Sir Remington

“Greetings, I am Sir Remington, Remi for short. I live a lavish lifestyle thanks to my people, Mike and Alex. I never tire of the brushings, the toys or the treats at my whim. I like to play with my best friend Deeboh, a wiener dog puppy. I like to think of myself as your average 8 month old Persian, but I hear I’m spoiled. I’m a natural in front of the camera so I hope you enjoy my holiday photo.”

Tiger

This is Tiger hanging out in the Christmas tree when he was 7 months old. Tiger was adopted from the Humane Society in Ottawa into the home of  Cassandra and Jason. Tiger is a late entry due to technical difficulties. 

Yuri

This is Yuri. His owner Lynn adopted him from a friend that was frantic to get rid of her barn cats. Yuri is now living inside with his brother Ivan, both of whom have adapted well to living indoors. Yuri’s owner Lynn also takes care of a feral colony that lives under her house!
