For today’s Famous Friday blog post we wanted to introduce you to our sanctuary’s spokes-cat Noodle. We chose Noodle to be the face of Paws On Your Heart because of his incredible story.
Noodle became a part of the sanctuary in 2007 as a kitten. He came to the sanctuary in a terrible condition – we found him shortly after he was thrown from a truck window… Not to worry though, as we spent many loving hours rehabilitating that tiny, injured kitten back to perfect health.
Noodle was very feral when we first brought him in. It took many months and several cans of salmon (his favourite food) to coax him to come anywhere near us. Luckily, with patience and love, we have been able to transform Noodle from a nervous feral cat, into a tame attention-loving feline.
Today, Noodle is one of the sweetest and most loving cats we have ever known. He enjoys spending his days lounging around the house, playing outside in the yard, and soaking up the sun in his very own backyard enclosure. We believe Noodle’s story is the perfect example of how patience and devotion to a homeless cat can be a rewarding experience. Noodle’s story teaches the lesson that if you show love and care towards any cat, they will be happy to return the favour.
