It’s the Holiday Season, and we want to celebrate by hosting a Holiday Cat Photo Contest.
Perhaps your kitty loves to help decorate the house or the tree, or maybe he or she is always willing to help wrap (or unwrap) the gifts. If you have any photos of your kitty showing off his or her love for the holidays, please send us your pictures!
To enter the contest, simply e-mail us a picture of your cat in a Christmas/Holiday setting to service@pawsonyourheart.com. Also include your cat’s name, a brief description of yourself, your cat, and/or the relationship that you have with your cat. If you don’t use Outlook Express as your default e-mail manager you may receive an error message if you try to click this e-mail link. To enter the contest you can either copy and paste our e-mail address into your e-mail client or download Windows Essentials, which will allow you to click the link above to send an e-mail.
As a special bonus for entering the Holiday Cat Photo Contest, you will receive our e-book Feline Favourites Cat Quotes, which is exclusively available to our contest entrants. Entering the contest will also register you for our sanctuary news e-mails that will provide you information about upcoming contests, updates about our sanctuary, interesting facts about cats, and other valuable information to help you care for your own cat. You can unsubscribe from these e-mails at any time.
We will be posting all of the Holiday Cat Photo Contest entries onto THIS PAGE. You may submit photos until December 27, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. Central Standard Time, and the photos will be available to vote on starting on December 28, 2012 until January 10, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. We will announce the winner on January 11, 2012.

Holiday Cat Photo Contest Rules and Regulations
The 2012 Paws On Your Heart Holiday Cat Photo Contest will begin December 12, 2012 at 12:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time and end January 10, 2012, 11:59:59 p.m. Central Standard Time. Entries will be accepted until December 27, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. and voting will take place from December 28, 2012 at 12:00:00 a.m. to January 10, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. To ensure you are submitting within the contest deadline, please CLICK HERE to see what time it is in Saskatchewan right now.
The cat contest photos will be available to be voted on via a poll, and Paws On Your Heart will notify the contest winner via e-mail on January 11, 2012. The winning picture will be featured in all sorts of Paws On Your Heart media including a press release, our social media websites (Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest), and the Paws On Your Heart blog for the entire month of January!
Contest Eligibility
This contest is open to anyone who wants to participate. If the entrant is below the age of 18, they must have their legal guardian’s permission to participate in the contest.
How to Enter
Contestants are asked to submit a picture of their cat in a Christmas/Holiday setting. There is NO entry fee. Multiple entries per person are permitted.
Entries are accepted from December 12, 2012 at 12:00:00 p.m. CST until December 27, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. CST.
Photographs must be in digital format. Only online entries will be eligible. No print or film submissions will be accepted for entry into this contest. If you have a printed picture, please scan the image and e-mail the scanned image to us.
Voting
Voting will begin on December 28, 2012 and will end on January 10, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m CST. Voting will be conducted via an online poll. You may only vote once.
Deadline
All entries to the Holiday Cat Photo Contest must be submitted and received by December 27, 2012 at 11:59:59 a.m. CST. The odds of being selected will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The winning photograph will be announced by Paws On Your Heart on January 11, 2012. The winner of the contest will have their holiday cat picture featured on the blog for the month of January.
The photograph must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
The photograph must be the sole property of the contest entrant. By entering the contest, the entrant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the entrant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph.
Contest entrants acknowledge and accept that their photograph submissions could be featured as a non-exclusive, royalty free image in Paws On Your Heart publicity and/or content (Website, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest) at a future date. Any photograph reproduced will include a photographer credit as feasible.
